Chandigarh (TET): Big news related to schools in Punjab has come out. According to the information, holidays have been declared in schools across the state from tomorrow.
Schools will remain closed from 21st May to 30th June. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken this decision in view of the soaring temperature.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert regarding increasing heat in the coming days.
The government had earlier changed the timing of the schools due to the heat wave, due to which it was decided to open the schools from 7:30 AM to 12 noon from today, but keeping in eye the increasing heat in Punjab, summer vacation has been announced.
